EXPECTATIONS Now this is a film that has come all of a sudden. With not much known about Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baki Hai, one is clueless about what to expect from the music here. Since the film is mainly plot driven instead of being a quintessential romantic affair or an action saga, one doesn't expect music to be the torch bearer here. Still, with as many as seven original songs in the film and various composers, one expects at least a couple of them to click. MUSIC It is an unconventional, though expected start to the album as Shabab Sabri begins to sing the title track 'Picture Abhi Baki Hai'. A 'desi' number which has the kind of sound that was prevalent in the 90s, it has lyrics by Ravi Chopra that establish the core context of the film (which is about a film being made in the film). Rajendra Shiv is the composer here and though one does expect the song to make an appearance at various junctures in the album; at the end of it all its appeal is strictly situational. The moment Sunidhi Chauhan begins her Westernised rendition of 'Salaame-E-Ishq', you know that it is an item number in the making. Frankly, if the song would have been released half a decade back, it may still have managed to attract some attention since this composition by Subash Pradhan would have been in the vogue then. However in the current times, this song - which does have its moments around the time its title (Salaame-E-Ishq) - doesn't quite stay on with you. Moreover routine lyrics by Swasti Shree Sharma don't help the cause either. There is some spunk that does come in the proceedings with the arrival of Taabish Romani written 'Chala Hai Joshi'. A theme song about the central protagonist (Amar Joshi) setting on to make a film, it has a decent groove to it, courtesy composer Parvez Qasar & Subash Pradhan who pair up well to bring in a blend of Indian and Western sound. Yet again, one can expect this situational track sung by Parvez Qasar to do well in the background.    Music Album Info :

Ek Tha Tiger is an upcoming Hindi language romantic thriller. The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Kabir Khan. This will be his third collaboration with the banner after Kabul Express (2006) and New York (2009).  It was scheduled to release on 1 June, 2012, but since Aamir Khan wanted to release his next film, directed by Reema Kagti, on 1st June, he requested Salman Khan & Aditya Chopra to shift Ek tha Tiger to accommodate this release. Given the close relationship and mutual respect Aamir Khan, Aditya Chopra and Salman Khan share, the release of Ek Tha Tiger is shifted to Eid 2012.

 Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic-thriller "EK THA TIGER", stars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The story is by Aditya Chopra and the Screenplay & Dialogues have been written by Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra. Aseem Mishra, who has worked with Kabir on New York, will be the DOP. The music will be scored by Pritam. The film starts shooting early July and is slated for a mid-2012 release. Plot Summary: Ek Tha Tiger is a romantic thriller which tells the story of a Trinity College scientist suspected of selling missile technology secrets to Pakistan. The Indian government sends a secret agent, codenamed Tiger (Salman Khan), to find out about the professor's activities. Tiger falls in love with the professor's caretaker Zoya (Katrina Kaif) who is studying at a fictional dance academy located at TCD, and together they embark on a roller-coaster journey that takes them from Dublin to Istanbul then to Kazakhstan and Chile. Production (Casting) After pre-production started, reports claimed that the film was initially offered to Shahrukh Khan. However, they were denied by the director, who stated that a different script had been offered by him to Shahrukh, but no one else had been roped in for the lead role in Ek Tha Tiger except Salman, for whom the project becomes his first venture with Yashraj Films. His salary for the film has been reported to be INR32 crore (US$6.38 million) crores. Director Kabir Khan teamed up with Katrina Kaif and Aseem Mishra for the second time after New York. Ranvir Shorey was signed in for a supporting role. Filming Filming for Ek Tha Tiger began on 10 August 2011. Shooting locations have reportedly included 10 countries, including Ireland, Turkey, Cuba, Iraq and India. The first schedule was carried out in the Trinity College of Dublin. The lead actors shot in the get-up of students and the college was chosen as an alternative to the "usual" educational institutions. The second schedule took place in Istanbul, as insiders of the film considered it a "perfect backdrop" for the action sequences. Salman did a commercial for Cuban Tourism with a local team while shooting a major portion of the film in Havana, the capital of Cuba. The same sets used in the film were featured in the ad.  A schedule planned in Hong Kong was delayed due to script issues and Aditya Chopra's simultaneous involvement in another project. The shooting of Ek Tha Tiger was stalled when Salman set off to USA for a surgery regarding his Trigeminal neuralgia. After it got over, it resumed on 10 September.[14] The stunt directors of The Bourne Identity were contracted for the stunt sequences of Ek Tha Tiger.[8] Katrina Kaif performed her own stunts in the film, describing them as "exciting, challenging and electrifying." This is one of the first action films in her career. She had to simultaneously switch between her two films and resumed her filming for Ek Tha Tiger on 27 March 2012. The film is being planned for a release during Eid of 2012. A set of reports indicated that the film showed a similarity with Agent Vinod (2012), and was inspired by the Bourne film series.  To shoot a single time slice shot for the film, a set of 75 Canon 5D cameras were used simultaneously. The official poster was released in August 2011, whilst the first teaser was released on May 10 2012 along the film Ishaqzaade. The whole unit including lead actors Salman Khan and Katrina kaif left for Bangkok on 22nd May 2012 to shoot the last schedule of the film.

 Soundtrack Initially, Pritam was signed as the composer of the film. However, he opted out of the film later due to date clashes with yet an other Yash Raj projects, Dhoom 3. Chopra, being impressed by composer Sohail Sen's work in their recently-released film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, roped him in to compose for the film. The lyrics will be penned by Neelesh Misra. A song titled Jaaniyan which had vocals by Asif Nawaz, a Pakistani artist was reported to have been leaked from the film's soundtrack. However, YRF officials denied the news, saying that the album was not in any danger of being leaked. Marketing The film's first teaser was released on 10 May 2012 along with the film Ishaqzaade and also in YouTube. The promo was extremely well received by the film industry and also the common people, as the response almost crashed the hosting server of Yashraj productions.
